Playback18 ("the Service") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle your personal information and recorded footage. The Service is currently in development; this policy may be updated at official launch.
1. Information we collect
- Video files you record, and their recording timestamps
- Location data (GPS) captured while recording, used for hole detection and shot-trajectory display
- Contact information (such as your name and email address) submitted through the contact form
- Analytics data (such as cookies) used to improve the Service
2. How we use it
- To automatically generate your highlight (recap) videos
- To respond to your inquiries and contact you about the Service
- To improve quality and investigate issues
3. Handling of videos and location data
- Uploaded videos are processed in the cloud solely to generate your recap video.
- Video analysis uses a third-party AI service (Google's generative AI API) under a paid tier. Your videos are never used to train AI models.
- Uploaded originals and generated videos are automatically deleted from our servers after a retention period.
- We never share your videos or location data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
4. Data security
Collected information is managed in access-controlled environments, and we work to prevent leakage, loss, or damage.
5. Third-party services
The Service runs on Google Cloud infrastructure and is delivered via Cloudflare. Information handled by those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Access and deletion requests
To request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your information, please contact us via the contact form.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised to reflect changes in law or in the Service. Material changes will be announced on this site.
